KETO TAQUITOS | BUDGET KETO FOOD | Easy Keto Recipe using Rotisserie Chicken | PART 2

I have another easy keto recipe for you, I’m going to show you how to make chicken taquitos using a rotisserie chicken, they’re delicious easy to make perfect for busy weeknights or lunches keep watching to learn how to make them.

I picked up a rotisserie chicken from the store and I love using written Surrey chickens just because they’re so versatile and it’s just so quick they’re 43 made. And not only can you use the meat for dinner recipes or lunch recipes, but you can actually have you’ve picked off all the meat you can use the carcass as stock for making chicken broth.

So for this recipe, you’re going to need three cups of chickens about one to two cups of chopped spinach, a brick of cream cheese. That’S softened about two cups of shredded cheese, sour cream and then some salsa as well, and like always, I’m going to have the full recipe in the description box below to make sure you check that out.

So you have all the proportions that you need, but basically all you’re gonna do is take these ingredients, put them in a bowl and mix them together. And that’s going to be your your innard portion of the taquito, and I added a little bit of salt and pepper there for flavor.

Another beautiful thing about this recipe is that you could actually make them together before you fry, em and freeze them. So you always have them ready to go for the tortillas. I use some low-carb tortillas.

These are just low in carbs protein wraps, you could use whatever low carbs are to you. You want these do have gluten in them, though. So if you’re trying to avoid that, then go with a coconut route which is gluten free, a little bit more keto friendly there.

But you just take one of those and just lay down the chicken dressing inside and roll it up. And it’s ready to go and repeat that with the rest of your taquitos [ Music ], and I made one using the coconut wrap as well and same process just lay it down and roll it up.

I get my coconut wraps at thrive market. It’S an online marketplace I’ll leave the link down below on where you can purchase these and then we’re going to use avocado oil to fry these taquitos in I like avocado oil, because it has a really high smoke point.

So you don’t have to worry about any free, radical damage or just your oils getting rancid you Dean. You do need quite a lot of it, though so just heat it up until it’s it’s sizzling and then put your taquitos in there and just move around until they’re evenly browned all over [ Music ], and I show you what the coconut wrapped taquito looks like It actually cooks a lot quicker than the low-carb tortillas, so make sure you keep an eye on it and here’s our finished product just place them on a paper towel just to dry them off and they’re good to go.
